Järjestin "pub crawlin" pienelle porukalle eilen. Tavoitteenaa oli käydä 12 eri pubissa, jokaisessa pubissa piti juoda tietty juoma ja noudattaa tiettyjä sääntöjä. Tälläset ohjeet heitin lonkalta:
Bar 1: The Earl of Beaconsfield
Drink: A pint of Ale
Rule: Everyone must drink their drink with a straw.
Bar 2: The White Swan
Drink: A glass of wine or a shot of whisky
Rule: Anyone who’s drinking wine has to order their drink by singing. Whisky drinkers have to draw moustaches to their face and wear them for the rest of the night.
Bar 3: Devonshire Arms
Drink: Pint of ale/lager
Rule: Boot camp rule; Everyone has to say “SIR YES SIR” (etc.) before and after they speak. Each time you break the rule you have to do 10 push ups or sit ups.
Bar 4: The Cambridge blue
Drink: Shot of Tequila, Sambuca or Gin.
Rule: If you drink..
Tequila: “High five” three random people in the pub.
Sambuca: Give a hug for five people from our group.
Gin: You’re free from any rules. (c’mon, who drinks gin shots??)
Bar 5: Tram Depot
Drink: Everyone has to buy a surprise drink for someone in our group (so that in the end everyone has a drink).
Rule: Everyone has to speak with a random accent (e.g. Texas, india, german..).
Bar 6: Elm Tree
Drink: One drink of your choice
Rule: A round of fuzzy duck/ ducky fuzz. Before the game, everyone has to pour little bit from their drinks to a glass. The one who lose the game has to drink it.
Bar 7: The King Street Run
Drink: Alcopop
Rule: Dancing queen. The one who’s served first is the dancing queen (it works in the same way than thumb master does): Once the dancing queen starts up his/her favourite moves, everyone must follow and the last person do so has to down their drink with one go. You can also try to fool people; If someone else than the dancing queen starts to dance and someone follows them, they have to down their drinks.
Bar 8: Champion of Thames
Drink: Shandy (lager or ale)
Rule: ‘Save The Queen’ : If someone manages to slip a penny into your glass, you must down your drink as quickly as possible (one go) You can't drop a penny to somebody's glass while they are holding it and if you drop a penny in somebody's drink which already has a penny in it, you have to down your own drink
Bar 9: St Radegund Pub
Drink: cider/ beer
Rule: Everyone must use each other’s full names in conversation. (If you don't know someone’s last name, ask in the previous pub). Attention: you can’t say “you” or skip the name so if you are talking to someone, you have to say the name first.
Bar 10: Maypole
Drink: Lapin kulta (finnish beer)
Rule: After every sip you have to imitate a reindeer (Krista Lankela is willing to show everyone how this works since she is from Lapland).
Bar 11: Mitre
Drink: Tiger or Budwar or Vedett
Rule: Everyone has to tell a joke to the bartender. If the bartender doesn’t laugh, you have to… (We’ll figure this out later).
Bar 12: The Pickerel Inn
Drink: Ask the bar tender to surprise you and drink whatever they recommend.
Rule: Michael Jackson; every time you take a sip you have to point in the air and say “hee hee” like Michael Jackson.
Porukka humaltui odotettua nopeammin eikä päästy puoliin noista baareista. Mutta hauskaa riitti senkin edestä, tosin täällä kädet kankkusesta tutisten kirjoittelen. Vähän kuva saldoa eiliseltä:
